Game Over

Today is one of the most important day of this year.
I called it quits with him and he understands the situation I was in but was unaware of the fact that I was actually falling deeper into this whole relationship. I have been contemplating this action for the past few months but today I am not sure why and what made me do this. It was like any other normal day for us. I went to work and he called me at lunch time and we chatted away. But don't know deep down inside me, I guess I wanted out yet I do not know how to put it into words.
End of the day, I just told him how I felt and I am really really glad that he is such an understanding man and he still managed to put a smile on my face with this msg: U Ok? Crikey what a bummer!
Yep, it's a bummer. All these while he thought that we were both lost albeit in different worlds and I was getting myself entangled.
I don't know what to say now. I still miss him dearly.

Last day at Ravensgate
Wednesday, September 06, 2006
Today is my last day at Ravensgate so I thought it would be a great idea to show my friends a typical work day for me.
830am, leaving the carpark.
Greeted by the usual morning traffic just a right turn into the main street from my house.
The white buildings at the back of the picture is where I will usually park my car. So for me to get from one end of the suburb West Perth to the other end of West Perth, takes me about 20minutes in the morning. Without the peak hour traffic, takes me under 7minutes.
Finally managed to park my car at RSG and I got to walk up the slope then turn right at the end to catch the Free Bus Service around city area (CAT BUS SERVICE).
It is definitely good exercise walking to the bus stop and then to the office. So this is how the bus stop looks like and the next bus will arrive in under 8 minutes.
The beautiful walk down to the office.
At last, arrived at office. And how messy my room looks like.
Time really passed fast today. Had a handover session with the new girl, Gail, and before we all know, it was time for lunch! Sonja had made a reservation at a nearby cafe for lunch.
This cafe serves beautiful lunches and to-die-for croisssants :)
Sitting at the left is Sonja (my biz mgr), Sue in the middle (office adminstrator) and Gail (the new employee). I bet we had a good time cos the lunch lasted for 2 hours and the accounting software consultant who was waiting for us girls to be back at the office wasn't pleased that he was wasting time waiting for us. HA!
One little thing about me: I have this little jar like container filled with M&Ms and I bring it along with me to every place I work at. I like to have something to munch on and give me a sugar high to keep me going during work. hahaaa... So after lunch, Sonja passed me my farewell gift together with a card. I was so touched as I have only worked for them for a little over a month yet they made me feel valued in the company.
It's really thoughtful of Sue as she reckons I need a new coffee mug at the new office and she filled it up with M&Ms and bought me another packet for refilling. What can I say? :)
Tomorrow I am going to start my new job with Paradigm. Sheesshhhh I hope all goes well. I am just kinda tired of working at 3 different companies for the past 7weeks. No joke. The kinda fighting spirit you gotta keep in order to adapt to new environment and knowing your job responsibilities. I hope that I do get to stay in the company for as long as the contract states.
Something about Yvanna: Issue resolved with him. Planning to go back Sing and a short trip to KL in Nov. Depends on my timetable but definitely it is tempting me. I wanna take a short break after my exams in October but I feel it's more likely for me to go back home during Christmas time. But to end this, there are no hiccups so far and I am really grateful that at least he did not turn a deaf ear to my displease confrontation.

What A Week
Saturday, September 02, 2006
At last this week has just miraculously passed. The current job that I am working at is coming to an end on Wednesday 6th Sept. The job is fantastic, I do get to learn much hands-on skills yet it will not attribute to my studies. 2 weeks ago when I learnt about this issue, I was on a job hunt once again. I have sent dozens of applications both to Singapore firms as well as local firms. As usual I did not get any responses but still I perservere. Finally I got a call from this company and it was the job that I was very much would love to have. It is a mid-tier size finance company that deals with salary sacrificing for both employers and employees. And my job would be an internal auditor for the clients.
On Tues, I took time off for the interview and I wasn't all well-prepared at all. I seriously thought I have stuffed the whole thing up and I was feeling dejected the whole day. On the same day, my manager told me that they have found a permanent girl to replace my role and I was even more determined that I need to get a job asap.
Wednesday passed and Thurs, finally I received a call from the company offering me the position! I was stoked! And the same day, my dear friend, Deborah, has finally got her PR approved!!! Prior to Thursday, both of us have our own problems. She found out about her visa was inappropriate for work but she has been working for a couple of months. Another friend of mine, Jessica, was also having her personal problems and I must admit all the negative vibes didn't make the week an easy one to go through. We were as though stuck in a rut and all these problems were beyond one's control.
Friday I met Benny for dinner and after work drinks. I have been wondering where Benny MIA to as the last 2 months, there was no news from him so I thought he was busy with his stuff. And I was just chatting with my friend about Benny and the next day, Benny called for dinner! hahahaa... Long life Benny ~
After the meeting with Benny, I rushed home to get ready to meet Him at 9pm. We met some new friends but I wasn't in the mood. I did mention that I was busy on Friday and he said:" No way, we are meeting on Friday". So we still met but I was so tired by that time. After some time, he and I were having a conversation and I kept on saying No No No.... he got pissed at me! He just say: Go away, everything is No. For the first time, he was using reverse psychology on me! I can't bear to reject him so I just agreed to some issues we were having. I looked into his eyes the whole night and I realised that we were drifting apart. Although he is just next to me, it just seems that he was a different person and I can't seem to find the connection that I had before. It's definitely something foreign and I am uncertain if this is a good or bad thing. I had to pull a happy face in front of our friends and at the back of my head can't wait for the night to be over. I just don't want to entertain anybody. I wish I am really really sick now or have chicken pox or measles or whatever so I will be able to avoid any meetings with him or the friends for the next few weeks. Even I say no, that word doesn't seem to exist in his dictionary.
Or maybe the week has been a long one and I just wanted to spend some time alone with him but he had to organise drinks and a get-together with friends.
When they was at my place last night, he needed to use the internet for a bit and I forgotten to close the rsvp window and he saw it.
*His comments:" Oh you are on rsvp, finding someone new to get rid of me?"
*My thought: Hmmm.... am I suppose to stay by your side for God knows how long?
Fuck that, I need my own space now. I can't be stuffed with all these unnecessary issues in my life now.
