2006 ---> Great year. Good friends came over to Perth to visit me. Got a job. Got my PR. Quit Smoking. Keeping Fit. Started CPA. Overall seems like my 2006 resolution which I have set for myself have all been accomplished.

So 2007's Resolution --->

1. Do not shit where you eat

2. Be contented with what you have now. Any other thing that comes along is a bonus.

3. Do not expect anything from anyone. Not all friends are truthful. Do not trust people easily.

4. Work my arse off in Singapore

5. Keep my house tidy

6. Stop procrastinating

7. No swearing

8. Try not to eBay that much

9. Stay focus on career and family.

Dec 2nd - Celine's Bday. Also the day I am going to leave Perth for Sing!

Woke up early for an appointment then after that off to Carousel to do some bday shopping! After which went to Leederville for coffee with friends... And by the time I got home, it was already 2pm! Luggage not packed. House was in a total mess.

Then when I went to do my laundry, I must admit it was my fault for inserting a fautly twenty cent coin and the machine was jammed. Ended up I still have to go up to my flat to get more change for laundry....

When everything was done, it was almost time to head down to Raffles Bar along Canning Hwy fo Celine's bday bash!







Did some last minute packing (ended up only packing one pair of jeans for this trip) and I kept having the feel that something was amiss yet not sure what it was... hmmmm.... Yes I only packed one pair of jeans and so little clothes. Not sure what was going in my head when I was doing my packing.


So Sam came to take me to the airport. Had coffee at Dome before departing...





At last, I have arrived in Singapore! As usual, complaining about the humidity but at least it's not that hot. Siong, my friend, came to pick me up and he couldn't recognise me. Reason being: I put on weight. :(

Met Jessica for breakfast at Holland Village and off to the salon after brekky.

Next day, it was mom's operation day...

The whole day was like an emotional roller coaster. She was supposed to be out of operating theatre at abt 6pm but at 6pm, we asked the nurse, she was still under operation! Dad and I just stood outside for 6hours from 3pm right up to 9pm.... Finally, I saw mum being pushed out of OT, I was soooo glad... but the nurse told me that due to her rather massive loss of blood during Op, she would be in the High dependency Unit for the nxt day or two. Again, Dad and I were quite shocked by the news. Dad stayed by her side til 2am while I went back to get some rest.

For the next few days, she was slowly recovering. In fact by the 3rd day after OP, she was walking without any aid. hahaaaa... mum is definitely a trooper.

Did manage to catch up with Cen, Del and Janet and some other friends.

I was rather desperate to go for a ktv session, and my dear frien Jan being ever so considerate, agreed to go with me. On the same day, not sure what got into her head, she bought herself a new hp SE k800i. Good choice...

Managed to spot Boost Juice at Vivocity! I was suppose to have coffee with a friend but end up, pulling him along to satisfy my addiction to Boost Juice. Definitely a healthier choice than coffee anyway.


One week passed by like a breeze, next thing I know, I was back at work. :(
Dreading to go back to work. I lost the movtivation! And for the first time eversince I came to Perth, I missed Singapore! I started to find faults with Perth. I came back home and I did not really feel so homely. But I guess it takes time to get into the feel.

But anyway, work wasn't that bad. Just a tad monotonous at times.

As Christmas is around the corner, I got into the festive mood, and started to decorate my department's xmas tree and the whole area. There was this competition going around for the best decorated team. Nobody in my team can be bothered to decorate so I took the responsibility. Anyway partly also can just take some time off from work. hahahaaa..

15th Dec was Sam's departure date to Singapore for good. I am feeling quite sad. All these years in Perth, we spend lotsa crazy and good times together. Doing crazy stuff = not attending class just to go burswood, waking up at stupidest hours or rather not sleeping the night before just for some Sale, hanging out at cafes at 5am then heading off to Sunday Markets, n the list just goes on.....
She understands me well and I guess I just took it for granted that she will be in Perth for a very very long long time...







So 14th Dec, we (Sam, Sussie and I) headed off to Northbridge Hog's Breath for our last supper. hahaaa then had coffee at Dome and ending the night by visiting my apartment. All these while I have moved out from Canning Vale, she has never once come over to my unit for a visit!

Sam, I am coming back sooooooonnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!! we can hangout at HV and reminisce the good times of Perth!



Weather: isit very hot.. 36degrees...
