Nightout at Bar Open

Well haven't really been updating since I left Singapore. Now I am back in Perth once again doing my summer course. Boring boring. Weather has been rather cooling more like Spring kinda weather rather than Summer. But I have checked the forecast for this Monday 17th Jan will be 36 Degrees. haizzz its really here! THE HEAT!
Okies wellz, last night, Samantha, Xinyi, Yih Sian, Ruth (sam's classmate) and I went out to some bar to try out. Ruth is an Aussie and she recommended to go Llama Bar at Subiaco and Bar Open at some alley near the CPP at Aberdeen Street at Northbridge. Ruth was late when we first met at Subi. So the rest of us waited for her at Dome. Shortly after she arrived, we went over to queue at Llama Bar but Ruth was already half drunk. She had some Vodka at home before heading down to Subi to meet us. We queued for about 10mins at the normal queue, Ruth came out with a "bright" idea, that we should all queue at the VIP queue. When the hostess asked us for our names on the guestlist, we were unable to answer. That was really embarassing moment. So we stuff Llama Bar and headed down to Bar Open.
We took another 15mins to find Bar Open after we reached Northbridge as Ruth was the only one who know the location but she was drunk! When we reached Bar Open, the girls went to Ladies and Ruth seemed to be take foreva man. So tired of waiting, we headed inside to get ourselves drinks. The concept was really cool. Though seems to be abit rundown but the crowd was pretty cool. Sofas to seat, nice music and most importantly CHEAP DRINKS! hahahaa
Champagne for only 25AUD per bottle! Where to find ley Singapore? hahahaa... So nicely we had 2 bottles, 6 shots of Frog's SquasH? (dunno wads that but was disgusting cos got sago stuff inside), 3 Martini Lemonade and Gin Tonic.
Its that Frog's thing that made Xinyi abit "Gao Eh" and she wanna puke. Angmohs raelly know how to bluff people drinks. Come and small talk with you, tell u life story and ask whether can taste abit of ya drink anot. They let this angmoh test drink already, then XInyi puked abit right, they straightawy change place to sit. very practical hor!
Oh yeah i forgotten about RUth. Actually we all forgotten about her when we were having our drinks. Apparently, she had an asthema attack and had to head home? And when she came, she claimed that TONITE WILL BE THE MOST FUN NIGHT? hahahahaa
We had our own fun anywayz, wasn't that bad afterall. Though we felt abit weird at first as we were the only Asians in the bar, but once you are high, who the hell cares?
So after that, Xinyi's boy came to pick her up and he wasn't that pleased with Sam as Xinyi la go and tell him she puked. hahaaa.. Then after that Mike came and we all left for City Garden for some supper. Time flies when you are drunk. CFM! the next thing I know, it was 4am already after supper. We got home at 4.30am. So that's the nightout for me. =)

New Year Eve Dinner

Dinner was at Amici something something at Holland Village once again. But this time we had dinner with Meimei (Joselyne), Wen, Peiling, Jonathan and Keith. Dinner time was 730pm but as usual Taitai Peiling left house from Katong at 7pm and she had to pick meimei and Jon up. Officially dinner started at about 9pm. And the food take donkey years loh and the portion was rather pathetic la.
Peiling and I been restaurant hunting the day before and we decided to take Amici coz' we reckon that it is rather reasonable. But to our surprise, for the NYE dinner, each person had to order at least 50SGD worth of food/drinks. There we go taking out our handphone to calculate what we gonna have and if we will reach 50 each pax.
After dinner, we decided to take a group pic, and I am not sure if the waiter's eyes "PAH JIAO" or what la, not everyone can fit into the pic!
really is a stupid pic... but after that, we asked the manager to take another pic for us! At least this time, we shifted around and made sure that all of us were included in the pic.
Isn't this a better pic? but abit dark la I know.
So at last dinner ended at about 1030pm. Damn long loh. Then Siong and I went back to countdown at home. Went home, straight away cook noodles eat again. hahaaa.. Eat so expensive also not full man. But hey, at least made an effort to go for dinner.
